No Limits Math Club is a free math enrichment program designed to help students strengthen their foundational math skills in a fun and supportive environment. Our sessions focus on building confidence and improving math fluency through hands-on games and interactive activities.
No. No Limits Math Club is completely free. Our goal is to make math support accessible to all students.
We currently offer sessions for students in:
Number Explorers: Grades 1 - 2
Number Ninjas: Grades 3 - 4
Number Legends: Grades 5 - 6
Students will play engaging math games that practice skills such as:
Addition and subtraction fluency
Multiplication and division facts
Time and elapsed time
Fractions and number sense
Mental math strategies
Many of our games use simple materials like cards, dice, popsicle sticks, and game boards to make learning interactive and enjoyable.
We keep groups small so students receive more support and attention while playing the games. Our goal is to have around 10 students per group. Spaces are limited and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Yes. Many students dislike math because they feel frustrated or lack confidence. Our goal is to make math feel less stressful and more enjoyable by using games and hands-on activities. When students practice skills in a fun and supportive environment, they often begin to feel more confident and develop a more positive attitude toward math.
Yes. All games and activities are designed using the Alberta Mathematics Curriculum to ensure students are practicing the skills they are learning in school.
Due to limited space, parents do not stay in the session room. Students participate independently while playing math games with their group. Parents are asked to remain in the library during the workshop.
Workshops typically run for 30 - 45 minutes, depending on the activity and age group. The exact time will be mentioned on the registration form and sent to you in a confirmation email before the workshop.
No Limits Math Club is organized and run by Eesa Khan, a high school student. The club was created as part of a school leadership project with the goal of helping younger students build confidence and improve their math fluency through engaging games and activities. Occasionally, additional volunteers may assist during workshops. All volunteers are required to have a criminal record check to help ensure a safe environment for students.
If a workshop is currently available, you can register through Our Events page. If there are no upcoming sessions listed, please fill out our Interest Form, and we will contact you when new dates are announced.
